POLYMERIZATION SYSTEMS:
LAB-SCALE POLYCONDENSATION REACTOR
Batch reactor designed to obtain condensation polymers. PA6, co-polyamides or PET can be produced. The output is 500-750 g/batch.
PILOT-SCALE POLYMERIZATION PLANT
It is a universal polymerization pilot plant, integrated by a batch reactor, destillation tower condensers, authomatic valves, vacuum line, extrusion and cutting system. It can produce condensated polymers, specially polyamides and PET. The output is perfectly comparable to reactor scale polimer. It works in a 10-15 kg/batch.
SOLID STATE POSTCONDENSATION PILOT PLANT
This equipment is optimum to dry or post condensate polymers in solid state. The output is 50 kg/batch.
CONDITIONING CHAMBERS
Their function are to prepare the samples before the essays according to ISO Standards. They are usually used for getting samples at low temperatures or to reach the equilibrium, but can also be programmed for water/moisture absorption studies.
DRYING HEATER
Drying heater is a hot air circulating system. This unit can be used to dry material before the processing or to do thermal degradation studies.
UNIVERSAL TESTING MACHINE
Electro-mechanic devide computercommanded. Different programmes and accessories can be adapted to the testing machine, in order to perform Tensile, Flexural or Compression Test.
IMPACT RESISTANCE MACHINE
This unit measures the materials impact resistance with automatic result measurement. It has the accessories to measure Charpy or Izod according to ISO standards, and for both standards, dry or conditioned, unnotched or notched, using the mechanical notching machine.
VICAT
It measures the heat defection temperature, HDT and Vicat Temperature according to international standards. With accessories to measure at 0.45 and 1,8 MPa.
MELT VOLUME RATE
This unit measures the melt flow index and melt volume rate or polymers, programmed for different temperature and weight conditions according to ISO 1133.
